Our club is made up of people with a broad range of skill and knowledge levels ranging from the ‘keen to learn’ novice, to the professional, all united by their love of photography.
We aim:

To foster a love of the art of photography.

Enable members to improve their ability to produce good images.

PSNZ
We are affiliated to the PSNZ (The Photographic Society of New Zealand) and as such receive their magazine “Camera Talk” every second month. The Society organises many competitions during the year which are popular and challenging.

$3 per member is collected on club nights
to cover refreshments and Cherry Park House hire. Pukenui Club is $10 per night for Hall hire.
New members

Joining after the 1st July will pay half the full year’s subscription rate.
The date the person joins is considered to be the date of the first meeting that person attends. (not the date the subscription is paid).
A joining fee of $5.00 is required for all new members.
Visitors are allowed to attend a maximum of three meetings and workshops, over three calendar months, before they have to join. They are not permitted to enter competitions until they have become financial members of the club.

MEETINGS
KERIKERI - Second Thursday of each month at 7.00pm, at Cherry Park House, Landing Road, Kerikeri. See Map
Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome to attend. Contact our Secretary HERE
Our members come from a large area including Coopers Beach, Kohukohu, Kerikeri, Kaikohe, Kawakawa, Paihia, Opua, Russell, etc.
Meetings consist of:
Presentation of work on the ‘monthly subject’ and also an ‘Open’ class with judges comments
Tuition and workshops -These can be by a guest speaker or one of our club members.
Supper and social time.
Field trips with car-pooling are organized during the year. We welcome ideas for places to visit. These are a fantastic way to get “on the spot” tuition from club members and get to know one another.
